<p><b>Job Title:</b> Systems Testing / QA Specialist - Senior</p><p><b>Location:</b> Toronto, ON (Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week, flexibility possible)</p><p><b>Client:</b> Public Sector</p><p><b>Duration:</b> 12+ Month Contract (Extension Possible)</p><p><br></p><p><b>Note:</b></p><p>We are seeking a highly skilled <b>Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist</b> with 7+ years of experience to support the implementation of a <b>Genesys Cloud CX Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS)</b> solution, including <b>Verint Workforce Management (Enterprise & Essentials)</b> and <b>Verint Quality Management</b>.</p><p>The ideal candidate will be hands-on with <b>manual and automated testing</b>, work closely with <b>vendors and internal stakeholders</b>, and play a key role in validating system functionality, integrations, and overall solution quality in a large-scale public sector environment.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Skills & Expertise:</b></p><ul><li>7+ years of experience in <b>manual and automated software testing</b></li><li>Strong experience with <b>functional, regression, integration, and UI testing</b></li><li>Hands-on experience with <b>UAT coordination and defect resolution</b></li><li>Familiarity with <b>contact centre technologies</b> (Genesys Cloud CX, Verint WFM, Verint QM - strong asset)</li><li>Proficiency with <b>test management and defect tracking tools</b> (JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail or equivalent)</li><li>Solid understanding of <b>QA methodologies, SDLC, and testing best practices</b></li><li>Experience investigating issues using <b>application logs and test results</b></li><li>Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Experience / Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in <b>Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field</b></li><li>7+ years of experience designing, executing, and maintaining <b>test strategies, test plans, and test cases</b></li><li>Proven experience supporting <b>public sector or service-oriented environments</b> (preferred)</li><li>Experience working with <b>external vendors and infrastructure teams</b></li><li>Exposure to <b>test automation tools or scripting</b> is considered an asset</li><li>Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail</li><li>Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced project environment</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Design, execute, and maintain <b>manual and automated test cases</b> based on business and technical requirements</li><li>Perform <b>functional, regression, integration, and UI testing</b> across Genesys Cloud CX and Verint platforms</li><li>Coordinate and support <b>User Acceptance Testing (UAT)</b> and manage issue resolution</li><li>Collaborate with developers, IOS business analysts, infrastructure teams, and vendor partners</li><li>Lead or coordinate testing activities with project QA resources</li><li>Develop and maintain <b>QA documentation</b> including test strategies, matrices, plans, scripts, scenarios, and reports</li><li>Investigate testing and production issues, analyze logs, and escalate risks as needed</li><li>Log, track, and manage defects using <b>JIRA or Azure DevOps</b>, ensuring timely resolution</li><li>Provide regular updates on <b>test progress, defects, risks, and quality metrics</b></li><li>Identify opportunities for <b>process improvement and quality enhancements</b></li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>If you're interested in exploring this opportunity or learning more, please share your updated resume at</b></p><p> <b></b></p>
