Our ideal candidate will guide all aspects of the day-to-day warehouse operations encompassing inbound, outbound and supporting departments. </p><p><br></p><p>If you are a warehouse strategy professional, passionate about boosting efficiency and a dynamic, hands-on leader please contact us today!</p><p><br></p><p><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><ul><li>Cultivate and empower a dedicated team of 150+ warehouse employees, ensuring unparalleled customer service and shipping</li><li>Uphold exceptional levels of accuracy, safety and performance in the daily functions of a well-structured, high-performing warehouse environment</li><li>Execute on all best practices to achieve positive results for company Key Performance Indicators</li><li>Manage inbound/outbound logistics, material movement, cycle counts</li><li>Champions a culture of Zero is Possible driving safety initiatives to meet company safety targets</li><li>Collaborate with various stakeholders to support long-term strategic initiatives/projects</li><li>Demonstrate continuous improvement by reducing process waste, non-value-added activities</li><li>Plans, implements, and communicates change initiatives to meet annual budget requirements </li><li>Measure and report on the effectiveness of the Warehouse activities, improving warehouse practices to drive an efficient and cost-effective order fulfillment process</li><li>Maintain 5S standards and ensure employees are performing tasks safely and in accordance with company policies and applicable legislation</li><li>Provide direction to the warehouse team (shipping, receiving, material handlers)</li><li>Ensure the timely, efficient, and cost-effective shipping of product to customers</li><li>Plan and maintain staffing levels and shift schedules to achieve company objectives/budgets</li><li>Provide effective training for staff to support a high-performance work culture</li><li>Maintain accurate shipping documentation, manifests, receipts; generate reports, as required</li><li>Conduct regular cycle counts & implement permanent corrective actions for any discrepancies</li><li>Ensure the warehouse is compliant with all Goods Manufacturing Practices and Goods Warehousing Practices</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelors Degree, Post Secondary education in Materials Management/Supply Chain, etc.</li><li>5 years warehouse management experience, 3 years leading a team</li><li>Demonstrated experience collaborating with leaders & fostering positive working relationships</li><li>Experience with lean manufacturing, warehouse and order fulfillment processes</li><li>Lean Six Sigma would be an asset</li><li>Advanced knowledge of MS Office products, SAP knowldege, ERP systems</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal and management skills</li><li>Ability to resolve operational and people problems in a courteous manner</li><li>Strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels</li><li>Comprehensive understanding of Ontario occupational health & safety, labour, and employment standards to ensure regulatory compliance</li></ul><p></p>Create Your Resume First
