Salary: The starting annual salary for this part-time Secondary School Teacher position ranges from $52,715 to $92,924, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers’ Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).
-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.
-Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.
Social Studies, ADST (Design) & Information Technology Teacher – Grades 7-9
(POSTING NUMBER T2324-248 – Round 5 – ongoing until filled)
0.857 FTE temporary contract, starting upon completion of the posting process to June 28, 2024 or return of the incumbent.
Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in Social Studies, Design and Information Technology. Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience at the Middle School level.
This position is scheduled for 1 block of Social Studies 7, 1 block of Design 7 and 1 block of Information Technology 8/9.
