As a Senior IT Analyst within a global environment, you will be responsible to drive and manage implementation of new applications on Tech platform. As a member of the Local Tech team, be co-responsible for the site and the department results. Ensure personal objectives are aligned with site goals and objectives.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following…

  • Collaborate with tech product owners and portfolio leads to the delivery of Technology Roadmap for the site in alignment with Smart Manufacturing ambitions for the site and for GSK.

  • Tech business partner for site departments including Packaging, Form/fill, Engineering, Quality Unit and support functions to drive lifecycle management of existing application landscape not limited to SAP, Veeva, Lab execution system (LIMS) and Manufacturing execution system (MES).

  • Drive Digital and Technology projects on site to make performance, trends and insights easily accessible to all levels of organization.

  • Drive Smart manufacturing ambition for the site including analytics, data integration between local and global data and new shopfloor applications.

  • Help drive process improvements and root cause analysis in partnership with site business function to improve overall site performance.

  • Support site’s application continuity and application support model to ensure no impact to production.

  • Act as backup for Site Technology Owner

  • Address IT risks (Business Continuity Planning, IT security, confidential data management).

  • Perform all job responsibilities in compliance with applicable regulations, standard operation procedures, and industry practice. Adhere to all GSK safety guidelines and procedures.

  • Adhere to all GSK Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures as applicable for functional area.

  • Work on any assignment as directed.


Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Minimum BS/BA in computer science or related technical discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, Biosciences or Chemical Engineering.

  • 2+ years of supervisory/management experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience with SAP in pharmaceutical or food industry manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/GCP) and with data transformation and visualization tools strongly preferred

  • Experience working in manufacturing environment with GxP Good Manufacturing Practices.

  • Maintain a high level of integrity while balancing multiple priorities and responsibilities.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Experience working in manufacturing environment that requires working with Operators and team leads to better understand requirements.

  • Focused on solution thinking and agile in learning new systems and processes that span software and hardware.

  • Motivated and interested in learning new technologies.

  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels both inside and outside and outside of organization.

  • The ability to clearly write technical documentation as necessitated by regulatory agencies on internal policy.

  • Demonstrate a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines.

  • Sense of urgency, flexibility, and accountability.

  • Must be a committed team player prepared to work in and embrace a team-based culture.

  • Ability to find solutions and efficient applications of the SAP software. 

  • Ability and motivation to work in new applications, business processes.

  • Provide expertise necessary to train site personnel.

  • Open to work in international environment that may require some travel within North America and Europe per business need.
