Job Description
Qualitest looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with strong technical expertise and leadership qualities. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who can quickly contribute, lead automation efforts, and work closely with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks
- Implement and execute automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
- Lead and guide automation teams, ensuring best practices and standards
- Work with keyword-driven, data-driven, hybrid, and BDD frameworks
- Coordinate with client Points of Contact (PoCs) and QA managers to:
- Prioritize tasks
- Resolve blockers
- Provide daily progress updates
- Collect and manage required QA documentation
Required Skills & Experience
- Around 5+ years of experience in test automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript
- Proven experience in automation framework development and standardization
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD integration
- Experience working in customer-facing roles
- Strong leadership and communication skills
