<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><br /></p><p>Job description:</p><p>Our client is expanding and is looking for a reliable Operations Technician to support plant operations, equipment monitoring, material handling, and quality control.</p><p>This role is perfect for candidates with production, industrial, or machine operation experience who enjoy physical work, problem-solving, and working with heavy equipment in a safe and team-focused environment.</p><p><br /></p><p>We are looking for candidates that are flexible in shifts, but will be working a straight shift.</p><p><br /></p><p>Shifts:</p><p>Day Shift: Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm</p><p>Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday 2:30pm to 10:00pm</p><p>Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday 10:00pm to 6:00am</p><p><br /></p><p>Wage:</p><p>Hourly Wage: $32.26</p><p>· RRSP matching</p><p>· Employer paid benefits</p><p><br /></p><p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p><p>· Operate production equipment and support daily plant operations</p><p>· Package 1000 kg bulk bags using automated loading systems</p><p>· Monitor product quality and accurately record production data</p><p>· Identify, report, and repair issues following standard procedures</p><p>· Load outgoing customer orders and unload incoming deliveries</p><p>· Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and front-end loaders for material handling</p><p>· Work at heights using fall protection (training provided)</p><p>· Run control panels and PLC-based automated systems</p><p>· Evaluate raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet specifications</p><p>· Support preventative maintenance, inspections, and wear-part replacements</p><p>· Maintain accurate written quality and production records</p><p>· Follow all safety, environmental, and operating procedures</p><p>· Assist with other plant tasks as assigned by management</p><p><br /></p><p>Skills & Experience:</p><p>· Valid 3rd party forklift license</p><p>· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle heavy materials</p><p>· Experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, or production</p><p>· Ability to follow SOPs, production plans, and safety procedures</p><p>· Strong teamwork and communication skills</p><p>· Technical diploma or equivalent work experience</p><p>· Welding experience or Red Seal mechanical training is an asset, not required</p><p>· Experience with loaders, forklifts, and scissor lifts is preferred</p><p>· Solid math skills and attention to detail</p><p><br /></p><p>Why Join the Team?</p><p>· Stable, long-term opportunity in a growing industry</p><p>· Hands-on training with advanced and automated equipment</p><p>· Competitive pay and consistent hours</p><p>· Build valuable skills in manufacturing, maintenance, and heavy equipment operation</p><p>· Supportive team environment with opportunities to grow</p><p><br /></p><p>This position is for a current open vacancy with our client.</p><p><br /></p><p>Our selection process includees AI-enabled tools for screening based on keywords and minimum qualifications.
