I’m currently looking for a computer technician for one of my clients in downtown Montreal. The position is 100% on-site, permanent. Your mission: You will be responsible for deploying and administering IT infrastructures and providing assistance to users on problems related to office automation and enterprise software. Your responsibilities: – Advise IT managers on the evaluation and acquisition of hardware and software solutions – Deploy solutions adapted to business needs – Install and configure workstations, software and peripherals – Carry out required interventions on the various technologies under his/her responsibility, including deployment, maintenance and problem resolution – Maintain equipment inventory and obtain quotes for hardware acquisition – Provide assistance with problems related to equipment, software and applications, and document interactions in the ticketing system – Ensure the updating of components (hardware and software) under his/her responsibility – Perform all other related tasks Your qualifications: – College diploma in computer technology, or equivalent – At least three years’ experience in a similar role – Good knowledge of IT office automation (telephony, workstations, software, etc.) software, etc.) – Functional knowledge of IT security best practices – Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows 10, Windows Server and Office 365 systems – Fluency in spoken and written French – Good knowledge of written and spoken English (Toronto branch to be serviced) – Initiative and autonomy – Technical knowledge – Customer service minded – Team spirit – Thoroughness Your assets : – Knowledge of IP telephony – Knowledge of Citrix Workspace application – Your working conditions
