Spectrum Vision Partners is an innovative, leading management services organization serving the Ophthalmology sector. Spectrum Vision Partners has over 750 employees providing world-class practice management solutions to a network of nationally renowned multi-specialty ophthalmologists in the Tri-State region, including Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island (OCLI). We are looking for a highly organized, conscientious, customer service orientated IT Professional to support our growing practice.
Travel is required to all OCLI locations in Nassau and Suffolk counties.
Position is full-time Monday through Friday.
Summary
The IT Support Technician will answer calls, emails and level I or Level II troubleshooting support to our growing practice. Must have basic hardware, software and network troubleshooting skills. Must be able to identify customer needs and provide the step and/or direction necessary to resolve said problems in a changing Information Technology environment. Must follow company and/or customer procedures as needed or where provided and maintain best security or business practice. Applicants must be highly organized and possess the ability to effectively and professionally communicate with others.
Essential Functions
- Provide knowledgeable IT Hardware, Software, and Networking Support.
- Provide user support for desktop and Lan/Wan- based applications
- Active Directory administration
- Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
- GPO creation and modification
- Office 365/ Exchange administration
- Software installation/SCCM
- Networking Experience(Cisco,Sonicwall preferred)
- Proficient with troubleshooting
- Follow up on open calls/service tickets daily
- Provide excellent customer service
- Accurately code and update call information in ticket system(s)
- Work with ISP’s to troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Printer/ Scanner configuration

Education
Associate’s degree in related field or two or more years of relevant experience
Certifications

Working Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and relevant machines. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.
