The Copper Cellar Support Center is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team. We support the hardware and software needs of our internal customers which include restaurant managers, operations, accounting, facilities, and others. Delivering exceptional technical support is crucial to the success of our teams in the restaurants as they go above and beyond to meet the needs of their guests.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to our diverse east Tennessee team at 20+ restaurant locations
- Respond to support requests via phone, email and ticketing system
- Identify and resolve hardware, software and network related issues
- Frequent travel to sites to troubleshoot and replace equipment
- Communicate with end users effectively without overloading them with technical jargon
- User account setup and management on a variety of local and cloud systems
- Work with vendors during implementation and support on their platforms
Requirements:
- Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field experience.
- CompTIA certifications as well as other technical certifications a plus
- 3-5+ years of experience in IT support role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, desktop OS and applications including Office365
- Strong understanding of network technologies, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and firewall management
- Experience with VMWare, RingCentral VoIP and Fortinet gear
- Excellent problem-solving skills and not afraid to get dirty tracing cable issues
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work nights and weekends, if required
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds or more
