As a IT Solutions Architect, you’ll serve as the vanguard of technology and cybersecurity expertise for our managed IT sales endeavors within a designated region. Impact’s Managed IT services are designed to proactively equip businesses with cutting-edge technology solutions, ensuring their competitiveness, fortifying their IT infrastructure, and minimizing costly downtime.
Responsibilities
Strategic Engagement: Lead and actively participate in initial client engagements, both remotely and in person, alongside our seasoned outside sales team. Your role is pivotal in understanding client challenges, introducing Impact’s Managed IT and Cybersecurity services, and demonstrating the value of our esteemed Business Transformation Assessment (BTA).
Business Assessment Ownership: Take charge of the Managed IT Business Transformation Assessment (BTA) process and all associated documentation. Coordinate with the branch Managed IT Team to meticulously plan the process, manage timelines, conduct onsite assessments, and collaborate with Field Network Engineers to deliver comprehensive assessments and recommendations.
Technical Expertise: Utilize your advanced technical acumen to review, validate, and articulate assessment findings to C-level and other stakeholders in a clear, non-technical manner. Develop bespoke technology implementation strategies tailored to each client’s needs, focusing on maximizing benefits and ROI.
Pipeline Management: Assume ownership of the Managed IT & Cybersecurity sales pipeline within your assigned territory, driving towards assigned quotas. Additionally, lead training sessions to empower branch sales teams, enhancing their ability to identify and pursue qualified leads in the Managed IT and Cybersecurity domains.

As an IT Solutions Architect, you will lead sales engagements encompassing a diverse array of technology solutions, including:
– Security-focused network infrastructure management
– Cloud solutions such as Azure and Azure Files
– Mobile Device Management
– Backup & Business Continuity
– Network Management
– Cloud Hosting Platforms
– Workspace as a Service
– Comprehensive Cybersecurity Solutions including proactive monitoring, endpoint protection, secure data protection, and compliance services.
Things We Look For
Technical Proficiency: Possess an advanced understanding of IT systems, including server technologies, networking infrastructure, cybersecurity protocols, and cloud solutions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and adeptness in learning and utilizing various internal systems is essential.
Experience: Bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Service Delivery, Pre-sales Engineering, IT Management, or related roles, preferably within a high-level technology environment. Ideally, you’ll have over 10 years of experience in the IT industry, with a background in a Microsoft Partner or managed services organization.

– Expected pay scale of $130,000-$170,000, dependent on experience, inclusive of possible draws and/or uncapped commissions
