<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Front of House / Store Staff (4 Positions)</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Bene Benissimo – 21 Barrie St, Bradford, ON<br /><strong>Hours:</strong> Tuesday to Sunday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (rotating shifts)</p><p><strong>About Us</strong></p><p>Bene Benissimo is a small Italian eatery in downtown Bradford serving authentic pizza, focaccia, panini, and desserts. We value passion, teamwork, and a friendly attitude. Our team works together across all areas of the shop — no job is too small or too big.</p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>We are looking for friendly and reliable team members to join our front-of-house crew. In this role, you’ll be the face of Bene Benissimo — greeting guests, taking orders, preparing coffee and drinks, maintaining the display counter, and ensuring the shop stays welcoming and organized.<br />Because we are a small business, everyone helps out where needed — from assisting in the kitchen to supporting cleaning or deliveries.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Welcome and assist customers with orders in person and over the phone</p></li><li><p>Operate POS systems (training provided; SmartServe certification a plus)</p></li><li><p>Prepare and serve coffee, drinks, and light food items</p></li><li><p>Keep the front area, tables, and display clean and well presented</p></li><li><p>Restock beverages, desserts, and take-out supplies throughout the day</p></li><li><p>Help with closing duties, dishwashing, or basic food prep as needed</p></li><li><p>Maintain a positive attitude and teamwork spirit, especially during busy periods</p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p>Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused personality</p></li><li><p>Flexible to help across different tasks (front counter, cleaning, support prep, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail</p></li><li><p>Must be available on weekends and during peak hours</p></li><li><p><strong>SmartServe certification</strong> (or willingness to obtain it soon)</p></li><li><p><strong>Preferred:</strong> college or university student looking for part-time or full-time flexible hours</p></li><li><p>Prior café or restaurant experience is an asset but not required</p></li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><ul><li><p>Positive and team-oriented work environment</p></li><li><p>Opportunity to learn multiple aspects of restaurant operations</p></li><li><p>Staff meals and employee discounts</p></li><li><p>Growth potential as the business expands</p></li></ul></p></p>
