Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ERP Technical Analyst specializing in PeopleSoft to support technical upgrades, integrations, and maintenance of PeopleSoft HCM environments. The role involves performing technical analysis, configuration, troubleshooting, and migrations across development, test, and production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong understanding of Oracle PeopleSoft ERP technical capabilities.
- Perform PeopleTools upgrades (version 8.51 and above) and apply updates using PeopleSoft Update/Upgrade Manager for HCM 9.1+.
- Configure Integration Broker for communication between PeopleSoft and external systems.
- Install and configure PeopleTools, WebLogic, and Tuxedo on UNIX environments.
- Manage PeopleSoft HCM environments including web servers, application servers, reporting, and process scheduler.
- Utilize PeopleSoft tools such as Application Designer, Data Mover, SQR, and SQL for development and troubleshooting.
- Migrate PeopleSoft projects across environments (development, test, production).
- Define and implement technical requirements, scope, and standards for PeopleSoft solutions.
- Conduct unit and system testing, and document technical designs and operating procedures.
- Provide technical knowledge transfer through documentation and consultations.
- Prepare deliverables such as architecture documents, test plans, prototypes, and reports as per Task Authorizations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience implementing, upgrading, and supporting PeopleSoft HCM (version 8.9 or higher) and PeopleTools (8.49 or higher).
- Extensive experience with PeopleTools components (Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, PS/Query, Data Mover).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues, liaise with business and end-users, and report to management.
- Strong background in technical design, configuration-based customizations, and performance optimization.
- Experience in reviewing functional requirements and advising on PeopleSoft HCM modules and functionality.
