As part of our expansion into data-driven and cloud-first ecosystems, we are inviting motivated individuals to join our <strong>Data Engineering Internship Cohort</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p><p><br></p><p>As a <strong>Data Engineering Intern at SalesPilot 365</strong>, you will work with data and engineering teams to design, build, and maintain data pipelines that support analytics and business intelligence systems. This hands-on internship is ideal for aspiring data engineers who want to gain real-world exposure to data processing, ETL workflows, cloud platforms, and database technologies. <strong>No prior professional experience is required.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Learn to design and develop data pipelines for collecting, processing, and transforming structured and unstructured data.</li><li>Assist with building ETL/ELT workflows using modern data engineering tools and frameworks.</li><li>Work with relational and NoSQL databases to maintain data quality and integrity.</li><li>Support data ingestion from APIs, files, and streaming sources into data warehouses or lakes.</li><li>Gain exposure to cloud data platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP.</li><li>Assist in optimising data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.</li><li>Write SQL queries and basic Python scripts for data processing and automation.</li><li>Collaborate closely with analytics and business teams to ensure data is reliable and accessible.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Requirements</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Currently pursuing or recently completed a B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MSc in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.</li><li>Basic understanding of databases and data concepts.</li><li>Familiarity with SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).</li><li>Interest in big data technologies, cloud platforms, and data pipeline development.</li><li>Strong problem-solving mindset, curiosity, and attention to detail.</li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Exposure to ETL tools or frameworks such as Airflow, Talend, or dbt.</li><li>Familiarity with big data platforms like Spark or Hadoop.</li><li>Understanding of REST APIs and data ingestion methods.</li><li>Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).</li><li>Experience working with Git or other version-control systems.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What You'll Gain</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Practical exposure to real-world data engineering workflows used by leading organisations.</li><li>Hands-on experience building data pipelines, managing databases, and working with cloud data platforms.</li><li><strong>1:1 mentorship</strong> from experienced data engineers and industry professionals.</li><li><strong>Internship Certificate and Letter of Recommendation</strong> upon successful completion.</li><li>Opportunity for a <strong>Pre-Placement Offer (PPO)</strong> with SalesPilot 365 or partner client organisations.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Stipend</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Starting stipend of <strong>C$20 per hour</strong>, with potential increases based on performance in assessments and interviews.</li></ul>
