Job Description
<p><p>Salary range: $56,498 - $97,900.</p><p>Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Analyzes client specific risk exposure and details coverage requirements</li>
<li>Prepares and presents marketing proposals for renewals and new business</li>
<li>Negotiates with underwriters to establish best terms and conditions with respect to premiums and coverage</li>
<li>Follows up with insurer to confirm terms of negotiated contract are met</li>
<li>Approves documentation for new contracts, policy changes, additions, deletions and renewals</li>
<li>Establishes contacts and cultivates relationships within the underwriting community in an effort to achieve the best premiums and coverage for Aon clients</li>
<li>Participates in client and prospect meetings</li>
<li>Collaborates with clients to develop coverage strategy and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business</li>
<li>Collaborates with sales producers to support growth strategies and specific prospecting activities</li>
<li>Collaborates to build national initiatives</li>
<li>Builds productive working relationships with peers and higher-level professionals internally and externally to exchange information and make recommendations</li>
<li>Performs other related duties as required</li>

<h3>Required Skills & Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 3 years' insurance experience</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of and relationships with domestic carriers</li>
<li>Level One Insurance licence required</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client and insurer engagement</li>
<li>Marine or commercial insurance background preferred</li>
<li>Sales and business development experience considered an asset</li>
</ul>
