(OneStream) Senior Developer

Job Description

<p>As the Senior OneStream Developer at this global organization, you will bring comprehensive VB.NET or C# skills, experience in structured software development practices, and the ability to work closely with functional stakeholders.</p><p><br></p><p>Joining a multi-stage OneStream implementation roadmap, you will be expected to contribute to system scalability, technical architecture evolution, and issue resolution with minimal supervision.</p><p><br></p><p>This role is based out of Toronto, with a hybrid expectation of 3-days per week in office, and is only available to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design, build, and support deploy OneStream enhancements across forms, dashboards, cube views, workflows, and business rules.</li><li>Apply object-oriented programming principles to create modular and reusable logic using VB.NET or C#.</li><li>Leverage OneStream extensibility frameworks, member filters, and parameter-driven designs to support scalable configuration.</li><li>Work collaboratively to maintain and optimize data integrations between OneStream, D365, MDM (Informatica), and external systems.</li><li>Work closely with Finance Product Owner and Platform Owner to translate business use cases into robust technical solutions.</li><li>Document technical specifications, metadata lineage, data flow diagrams, and configuration logic.</li><li>Support deployment procedures, configuration migration, and release coordination.</li><li>Develop test scripts, log known issues, and maintain traceability across ADO work items.</li><li>Champion design consistency and alignment across modules and teams.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>3-5+ years of hands-on OneStream development experience (dashboards, forms, cube views, business rules, workflows).</li><li>Strong background in object-oriented programming using VB.NET or C#.</li><li>Understanding of finance processes such as consolidation, planning, forecasting, and allocations.</li><li>Demonstrated experience with metadata structures, extensibility concepts, and data management sequences.</li><li>Familiarity with agile delivery methods, sprint management, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards.</li><li>Strong debugging, documentation, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proficiency in translating business requirements into technical specifications.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.</li><li>Understanding of data warehousing concepts, API integration, and relational database queries (SQL).</li></ul><p></p>
