Technician (i.e. BAS, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, IT/tech, instrumentation)

<p>EcoPilot is growing-and we're adding to our technician team.</p><p> </p><p>We use <b>AI to deliver real-time HVAC energy savings</b> by integrating directly with existing Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS). No ripping and replacing. Just smarter buildings, lower energy bills, and happier operators.</p><p> </p><p>You <b>do not need a deep BMS/HVAC background</b> to apply. If you're the kind of person who can troubleshoot, learn fast, and enjoy technical problem-solving, <b>we can teach you the building controls side</b>. We're open to a broad range of experience levels-if you've got the right mindset, we want to hear from you.</p><p> </p><p><b>What you'll do </b></p><ul><li>Analyze building data for completeness and accuracy</li><li>Support on-site building assessments and identify potential installation considerations</li><li>Communicate with building staff and contractors to meet project requirements</li><li>Support hardware/software installation</li><li>Support testing and commissioning of EcoPilot products </li><li>Contribute to and maintain installation documentation</li><li>Provide remote and occasional on-site technical support</li></ul><p><br></p><p> <b>Qualifications and Experience</b></p><ul><li>Diploma/degree in a technical field or demonstrated comparable hands-on experience (automation, electrical, mechanical, IT/tech, instrumentation, etc.)</li><li>Comfortable learning new software/tools and working with data</li><li>Competency with Microsoft Office</li><li>IP networking knowledge (or strong interest in learning) is an asset</li><li>Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, LonMark, or JSON is an asset (not required)</li><li>Project coordination experience is an asset (not required)</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally</li><li>Genuine interest in building performance, energy efficiency, and tech that makes things smarter</li></ul><p><br></p><p></p>
