<b>Hours:</b> 7.25 hours/day, Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM<br>
<b>Start Date:</b> Pending security clearances and contract finalization<br><hr><h2><b>About the Role</b><br></h2><p>A public-sector program is seeking an experienced <b>Salesforce Technical Architect</b> to support a large, complex, vendor-managed implementation. This role focuses on defining integration approaches, developing architecture documentation, identifying risks, and ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant Salesforce solutions. This is a hands-on, leadership-focused position within a regulated environment.<br></p><p>The role is <b>100% onsite in Toronto</b> and requires adherence to project-specific schedules under the direction of the hiring manager.<br></p><hr><h2><b>Scope of Work</b><br></h2><ul><li><p>Define strategy for integrating Salesforce with legacy systems and third-party applications, including middleware, interfaces, and data flow diagrams.<br></p></li><li><p>Assess business processes and architecture design documents to ensure alignment with technical requirements.<br></p></li><li><p>Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies related to integration, scalability, security, and compliance.<br></p></li><li><p>Develop and document high-level and detailed architecture artifacts, including:<br></p><ul><li><p>Architecture diagrams<br></p></li><li><p>Data models<br></p></li><li><p>Integration and API patterns<br></p></li><li><p>Security models and frameworks<br></p></li></ul></li><li><p>Provide detailed specifications for customizations, configurations, APIs, and integration components.<br></p></li></ul><hr><h2><b>Assignment Deliverables</b><br></h2><ul><li><p>Documented integration approach for Salesforce and legacy/third-party systems.<br></p></li><li><p>Completed assessments of business processes and architecture designs.<br></p></li><li><p>Documented risk mitigation strategies for technical and integration risks.<br></p></li><li><p>Architecture artifacts and diagrams supporting the full solution design.<br></p></li></ul><hr>

<h2><b>Mandatory Requirements</b><br></h2><ul><li><p><b>5+ years Salesforce experience</b><br></p></li><li><p><b>5+ years architect experience</b> working in vendor-driven environments<br></p></li><li><p><b>5+ years as a technical architect</b> in large, complex implementation projects<br></p></li></ul><hr><h2><b>Nice-to-Have</b><br></h2><ul><li><p><b>5+ years experience</b> within tribunals, operations, or public-sector digital environments.<br></p></li></ul><hr><h2><b>Desired Skills & Experience</b><br></h2><ul><li><p>Deep expertise with the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Field Service Lightning, Data Cloud).<br></p></li><li><p>Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL.<br></p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware such as MuleSoft.<br></p></li><li><p>Leadership in designing and implementing technical architectures in enterprise environments.<br></p></li><li><p>Experience with structured methodologies for application design, development, and implementation.<br></p></li><li><p>Experience developing conceptual, logical, and physical process/data models.<br></p></li><li><p>Experience creating enterprise architecture deliverables and solution models.<br></p></li><li><p>Familiarity with ITIL methodologies and ability to guide teams in ITIL-aligned processes.<br></p></li><li><p>Experience translating business requirements into technical and reporting specifications.<br></p></li><li><p>Experience with CASE tools and project management tools.<br></p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.<br></p></li><li><p>Proven ability to work across multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines.<br></p></li><li><p>Awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends.<br></p></li><li><p>Public-sector experience is an asset.<br></p></li></ul>
