This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in supply chain operations, manufacturing engineering, and supplier readiness in a high-precision production environment.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Assess and validate supplier readiness for aerospace component production</li><li>Collaborate with suppliers to ensure capacity, capability, and quality expectations are met prior to production launch</li><li>Identify and mitigate risks within the supply base to avoid disruptions</li><li>Conduct supplier audits, readiness reviews, and performance monitoring</li><li>Partner cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, quality, and production teams</li><li>Develop and track action plans to ensure supplier timelines and deliverables are aligned with project requirements</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing engineering within an industrial or aerospace setting</li><li>Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and supplier performance management</li><li>Experience working directly with suppliers to resolve readiness or capacity challenges</li><li>Ability to read technical drawings and understand product specifications</li><li>Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills</li></ul><p><b>Preferred:</b></p><ul><li>Experience in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing industries</li><li>Familiarity with supplier onboarding and development processes</li></ul><p><b>Additional Details:</b></p><ul><li>Position is based onsite at the client’s Calgary facility</li><li>Full-time hours (day shift), contract role</li><li>Compensation: $45–$55/hour depending on experience</li></ul><p></p>
