Alt-Tech Inc, a Sherwood Park based Cyber Security and Managed Service Provider (MSP) Company, is currently recruiting a full-time and permanent IT Infrastructure Analyst to join our team. With over 15 years of experience in computer systems, networks, and cyber security, we provide a wide range of support services to small, medium, and large businesses.
What You’ll Do:
Play a crucial role in the design, installation, and support of computer primarily server systems and networks.
Collaborate with our team of certified IT professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our clients’ infrastructure.
Work on diverse projects and contribute to the success of our clients’ businesses.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting to clients, both remotely and on-site in the greater Edmonton Area.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Implement Cybersecurity systems, frameworks, and best practices.
Monitor and manage network performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes.
Participate in the planning and execution of technology projects.

What We’re Looking For:
Post-secondary related diploma or degree in Computer Technology or related discipline preferred.
7+ years of practical experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining computer systems and networks for small to large businesses.
MSP experience is preferred.
Practical Experience in cloud computing platforms, mainly Azure.
Proficient in network administration, including configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Proficient in auditing and implementing cyber security measures.
Excellent knowledge of industry best practices for IT infra design, installation, and support.
Possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to IT infrastructure.
Able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and peers.
A current, clean police record check
A valid class 5 license with clean driving abstract.
