Job Responsibilities
The Finance Senior Business Systems AnalystSolution Architect (BSASA) at Lam Research will be responsible for the business processes definition, implementation, and configuration with an emphasis on SAP FI/CO. The BSASA will analyze complex business problems and help define the solution within SAP FI/CO and other finance systems. Identify gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scale new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost-effective manner.
- Configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit and cycle testing. Support business end users during integration and user acceptance testing to meet business requirements.
- Align business processes with solution design by leveraging the capabilities of SAP and other SW applications.
- Responsible for laying out high level design by analyzing complex business problems to be solved with automated system solutions or process re-engineering
- Identify, analyze, and communicate architecture and integration options and make recommendations.
- Proactively identify opportunities to standardize/improve processes that not only supports the customer-focused approach but ensures compliance to the business management goals and objectives.
- Lead proof-of-concept sessions to develop, prototype, test and implement solution improvements to increase stability, usability and functionality to enable business unit roadmap objectives
- A self-starter with excellent people skills who can participate and lead cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues.
Other Job Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Has full cycle SAP ECC implementation experience with a thorough understanding of the SAP FI & GL functions. Experience in multi-currency company code implementations in a global setting including intercompany payables/receivables and Stock Transport Orders.
- Proven configuration expertise in the following areas of FICO: Company code, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Parallel ledger configurations.
- Knowledge of foreign currency exchange rate configuration and maintenance. Configuration for period end valuations of balances and open items for leading and parallel ledgers.
- Expertise in Cost Center, Internal orders, Profit Center Accounting, CO-PA configurations. CO period end expertise to include order settlements and cost center allocations.
- Expertise in integration with SAP SD and MM modules including material movements, billing documents, invoice documents.
- SAP ECCS consolidation configuration and support experience to include currency translations, intercompany elimination, and reclassification.
- Accurately translate and documents business requirements into functional specifications to solve business problems. Prioritize business requirements and recommend changes to multiple business processes. Assess the risks of various solutions by looking across multiple applications.
- Participate in cross-functional projects including Technical team, Functional team, and Business Functions. Interfaces with Business and IT cross functional teams to identify and resolve business systems problems and consults with various users to identify potential improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- S/4 full cycle implementation experience is desired.
- ECC to S/4 migration experience.
- S/4 group reporting experience.
- Data collection & integration experience between S/4 and remote systems.
- Material ledger implementation experience is desired.
- Global knowledge of Sales Tax and VAT/GST requirements is desired, tax procedures, condition records and usage in SD and Purchasing
- Working experience of banking setup in SAP, setting up payment mediums, EDI/XML formats.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, at all levels including customers, vendors, peers, business stakeholders and management
- Knowledge and experience in project management desired

Salary and Benefits
CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $129,000.00 – $272,000.00
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
