Job Title: Software Engineer Client: Elite Scaling FinTech Firm Salary: Up to CA$100k Bonus Location: Montreal (Hybrid Working) Sells: Cutting-edge tech, ownership of multiple greenfield projects, no red tape, a friendly/collaborative environment, beautiful offices, personal projects on Fridays An Elite Scaling FinTech Firm is looking for highly talented Software Engineers to rotate through multiple teams of elite individuals. This team have an unlimited tech budget, promote a great culture and are made up of fantastic like-minded individuals. You could be: Working as part of a team of engineers looking after and building a zero-down time low latency infrastructure Scaling and optimizing some of the most performant ETL pipelines on the planet Conducting R&D for functional programming within the firm Building out a DevOps environment from scratch in a Software Engineering Capacity including containerization, CI/CD pipelines, orchestration etc. Skills: 1-4 years of Python programming experience Knowledge of Monitoring tools is a plus Knowledge of configuration management, IaC, CI/CD etc is a plus Exposure to ETL pipelines is a nice to have Strong experience with functional programming languages etc. Exposure to build tools (e.g. CMake or Bazel) is a plus A Computer Science Degree is essential
