<p><strong>Position Title:</strong> Software Developer (Siebel)</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Toronto, Ontario</p><p><strong>Work Arrangement:</strong> Hybrid / Onsite</p><ul><li>4 days onsite and 1 day remote (until January 4, 2026)</li><li>5 days onsite starting January 5, 2026</li><li> <strong>Duration:</strong> Approximately 120 business days (6 months)</li><li> <strong>Work Hours:</strong> 7.25 hours per business day, Monday to Friday (between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>The Software Developer will play a key role in the design, configuration, and development of Siebel-based solutions, along with supporting reporting and integration initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with technical and functional teams to implement, maintain, and enhance enterprise-level applications and ensure seamless system operation and data flow across platforms.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Translate technical systems specifications into fully functional, tested applications.</li><li>Develop detailed programming specifications, write and/or generate code, and conduct unit testing.</li><li>Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems during application operation and deployment.</li><li>Provide technical assistance in implementation, conversion, and data migration activities.</li><li>Design, develop, and maintain Siebel configurations, workflows, and integrations.</li><li>Create and enhance reporting solutions using OBIEE and Power BI.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams throughout the software development lifecycle.</li><li>Participate in code reviews, design walkthroughs, and quality assurance activities.</li><li>Provide post-implementation support and documentation as required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Core Skills and Experience</strong></p><p><strong>Siebel Development (40%)</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum <strong>10 years of experience</strong> in Siebel technical configuration, design, development, and integration.</li><li>Minimum <strong>5 years of experience</strong> integrating Siebel with systems such as <strong>Adobe AEM</strong> and <strong>J2EE</strong>.</li><li>Minimum <strong>5 years of experience</strong> with <strong>Siebel EIM/EAI</strong>.</li><li>Minimum <strong>3 years of experience</strong> with <strong>Siebel IP18</strong>, focusing on configuration and development.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Assignment Manager, Business Rules, Workflows, Applets, Views, and related business layer objects.</li><li>Proficiency with Siebel Tools, Web Templates, and Open UI architecture (Presentation/Physical Models, OOTB structures, and limitations).</li><li>Skilled in UI integrations (embedding/exposing Siebel applications).</li><li>Experience configuring Siebel migration applications and administering Siebel Approval Manager.</li><li>Siebel 8.x or higher certification preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Report Development (35%)</strong></p><ul><li>Strong experience developing reports and dashboards using <strong>OBIEE</strong> and <strong>Power BI</strong>.</li><li>Proficient in <strong>HTML5, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript</strong>.</li><li>Working knowledge of <strong>Siebel Open UI</strong> concepts, including PM, PR, Manifest, and Mapping files.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Soft Skills (20%)</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.</li><li>Demonstrated teamwork and ability to collaborate with both functional and technical stakeholders.</li><li>Proven ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines.</li><li>Adaptable, resourceful, and self-motivated professional.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Domain Experience (5%)</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with Siebel modules such as Public Sector CRM, Contracts, Partner Portal, Campaign Management, and eService is an asset.</li><li>Experience with <strong>Grants Management</strong> modules or similar business domains is an advantage.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Desirable Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Experience conducting impact assessments on Oracle E-Business customizations and extensions.</li><li>Strong programming experience in <strong>PL/SQL, SQL, XML, Unix shell scripting</strong>, and <strong>Oracle Data Integrator</strong>.</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory</strong>, and <strong>Collections</strong> modules.</li><li>Strong understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite table structures and SQL tuning (including partitioned tables).</li><li>Experience with <strong>ETL</strong>, <strong>data warehousing</strong>, and <strong>OBIEE</strong> methodologies.</li><li>Exposure to <strong>Java</strong> and <strong>Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF)</strong> is an asset.</li><li>Understanding of <strong>Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)</strong> standards.</li><li>Ability to prepare user and system documentation as required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Must-Have Qualifications</strong></p><p> 10+ years of Siebel configuration, design, development, and integration experience</p><p> 5+ years of Siebel integration experience (Adobe AEM, J2EE, etc.)</p><p> 5+ years of Siebel EIM/EAI experience</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Nice-to-Have Qualifications</strong></p><p> Experience with Grants Management or Public Sector Siebel modules</p><p> Oracle E-Business Suite and BI reporting experience</p>Create Your Resume First
