Required Skills & Experience 5-7 years of experience in software development with a focus on ServiceNow development in most recent years (intermediate to advanced level) ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) OR ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications Deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform and ecosystem Ability to handle configurations and customization, with the expertise to discern when to employ code versus configurations Extensive experience in JavaScript for integrations, building service catalogs, and translating design documents into actionable solutions Infrastructure programming and strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies Hands-on experience configuring and customizing ServiceNow platform features, including workflows, forms, UI actions, business rules, and client scripts. Nice to Have Skills & Experience Telecommunications or IT Service Management experience Job Description Insight Global is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join a large telecommunications/utilities client in Toronto, ON (Hybrid): – Participate in a business transformation project to integrate cloud systems into the ServiceNow platform, transitioning from a prior partnership to in-house development – Operate in an agile environment, managing multiple workstreams, including the introduction of new products into the ServiceNow portfolio – Oversee Service Manual ITSM and service management, including order management for telecom services and ongoing hardware asset management implementation. – Contribute to the development of a customer portal within the ServiceNow platform – Address aspects of the platform that are not yet fully developed, enhancing its functionality – Play a key role in realizing the vision of making the ServiceNow platform available for use across the entire Business Operations (Biz Ops) teams. This includes managing service management, incident change management, and IT customer service management for the Network Operations Centre, where all incidents and tickets are received – Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and modules using ServiceNow Studio, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies – Configure and customize ServiceNow platform features, including workflows, forms, UI actions, business rules, and client scripts – Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications using REST/SOAP APIs, MID servers, web services, and more – Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow functionality, performance, and security, ensuring a seamless user experience Compensation $50/hr to $70/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D.
