Adecco is currently recruiting for a Project Manager. This is a 12-month contract opportunity with possibility of extension or permanence.. The opportunity is a hybrid role for the duration of the contract, with the central office in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must hold a reliability level security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.The Project Manager will have the following responsibilities:
路 Provide project management expertise for all project activities by working with stakeholders, project team members and groups across the client using proven project management best practices and methodologies
路 Oversee the project throughout all phases by ensuring resources are adequately utilized and the project is completed and fully operational within previously agreed upon timelines, and performance parameters
路 Develop project plans and prioritize work to achieve project objectives, working with project resources and ensuring collaboration with other teams, as required
路 Oversee project risks, issues, and interdependencies while delivering defined scope and work plans within defined quality and timeframes
路 Prepare and present proposals, plans, charts, status reports and risk logs to assist in analyzing, displaying and socializing progress, challenges, issues and problems by using a variety of project management tools
路 Assist team with change requests and risk mitigation plans
路 Align success measures to track adoption and transformation progress
路 Coordinate the input, support and communication with all functional areas that affect requirements related to project scope, business value, risk,
路 Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with stakeholders and business partners to ensure understanding of client needs and support effective resolution of client inquiries and concerns
路 Collaborate proactively with other teams to coordinate interdependencies and optimize flow for delivery and operational teams
路 Act as a central point of contact for all project resources and subject matter experts
路 Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning retrospective meetings and backlog management to provide guidance to the delivery team to identify and prioritize deliverables
路 Provide regular updates on progress and value delivery to senior management and/or the sponsor/client
路 Ensure all project deliverables are completed including all related documentations and processes
路 Other activities and deliverable, as required
The Project Manager must meet the following mandatory requirements:
路 University degree or college diploma in information technology, project management, business analysis or a related field
路 A minimum of ten (10) years of recent demonstrated experience in the field of IT infrastructure and network security
路 A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Management Specialist in overseeing medium-to-large infrastructure modernization projects in a complex environment
路 Strong demonstrated business acumen, including the ability to identify and communicate value and translate business needs into project objectives
路 Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences
路 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions and judgments, especially in identifying and mitigating infrastructure risks
路 Demonstrated experience leading multiple initiatives concurrently and effectively managing interdependencies
路 Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve objectives
路 PMP and Scrum certifications would be considered a strong asset.
