As a collaborative member of the Core IP Network team, the Senior Networking Engineer – Internet is responsible for a wide variety of activities relating to the management and maintenance of our core Internet infrastructure. The primary focus of this role will be on capacity planning, core network augmentation and the maintenance of all key Internet adjacent systems.


  • Diploma or degree in Network Engineering
  • Strong technical, problem determination, and resolution skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work on multiple projects / tasks.
  • In depth understanding of Networking (IP addressing, routing and switching)

Experience with the following are considered an asset:

  • IPv4/IPv6 routing via BGP, OSPFv2, OSPFv3
  • BGP traffic engineering
  • BGP Community Strings
  • Working with RADB/ARIN/RIPE
  • Competence administering Linux based systems
  • Coordinating Peering in major IX’s
  • Managing RPKI/RPKI Server
  • Arbor/Netscout products
  • Familiarity with various 10/100/400Gbps optics and platforms
  • Familiarity with IOS-XR and JunOS
  • Familiarity coordinating with major content providers/CDNs
