Senior Manager, Back Office Systems

<p>The<strong> Senior Manager </strong>will oversee all business applications and related activities for Compass Canada's back-office systems. This includes the development and maintenance of custom developed applications and the configuration and support of acquired COTS/SaaS software.</p><p><br></p><p>Now, if you were to come on board as one of our <strong>Senior Manager</strong> we'd ask you to do the following for us:</p><ul><li>Understand US technology roadmap an align Canada roadmap accordingly</li><li>Lead Back Office Development Team and liaise with Compass Technology Enterprise Platform Support team to ensure Compass Group Canada's priorities are met</li><li>Curious about business priorities and the latest technology trends and innovation opportunities</li><li>Comfortable in a matrixed environment with competing priorities.</li><li>Provides technical direction, evangelism, oversight, and contribution to technology decisions</li><li>Navigate business driven needs all while keeping systems alive and operational, dealing with unexpected situations as they arise.</li><li>Forecast and maintain budgets and controls.</li><li>Proactively identifies and removes blockers, limits work in progress and prevents distractions.</li><li>Demonstrates effective and efficient capability in identifying, proposing, and soliciting innovative solutions to complex, time-critical challenges.</li><li>Collaborate and work closely with internal partners. From the business to software engineering, infrastructure, and analytics, fostering sound relationships with coworkers across the company to support their efforts while delivering well-managed services at scale.</li><li>Advocate for the latest technology patterns (cloud, BI etc.) that are relevant to establishing Compass as a leader in technology- Consult with the executive team and the IT leadership the new technology and its implications in the industry</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Think you have what it takes to be our <strong>Sr. Manager</strong>? Here's how we'll know you'll be successful in the role.</p><ul><li>Bachelor's in related field, or equivalent work experience.</li><li>Minimum 5-7years' experience in leading development of software products, with 3+ years management/leadership</li><li>Must have exceptional written and verbal communication and time management skills.</li><li>5+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into digital solutions</li><li>Existing manager experience leading multiple large projects and product lines and related change management</li><li>Experience in an Agile culture with the proven ability to coach teams and stakeholders in practice adoption and maturity.</li><li>Experience with finance systems, especially SAP and Anaplan preferred</li><li>SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC 6</li></ul><p></p>
