<h3>The opportunity</h3>
<p>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager in SAP to lead our financial services initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP solutions, particularly in the financial services sector, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects that drive business transformation and efficiency.</p>
<h3>Your Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead and manage SAP projects within the financial services domain, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.</li>
<li>Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices and solutions tailored to the financial services industry, often serving as the Solution Architect on the project.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.</li>
<li>Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SAP solutions.</li>
<li>Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.</li>
<li>Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.</li>
</ul>
<h3>To qualify for the role you must have</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP project delivery, with a focus on financial services.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of financial processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.</li>
<li>Proven experience in leading large‑scale SAP implementations and transformations.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>SAP certification(s) is a plus.</li>
<li>At minimum 6+ years of experience working with SAP Finance modules and participation in full lifecycle implementations (or equivalent experience) required.</li>
<li>Development of project documentation, training materials, requirements gathering and project management methodology experience required.</li>
</ul>

<h3>Ideally, you’ll also have</h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience with SAP S/4HANA, and statutory and regulatory reporting requirements in Financial Services.</li>
<li>Experience with integration with third‑party systems.</li>
</ul>

<p>The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $120,500 to $216,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.</p>
