JOB PURPOSEÂ
Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant plays a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This position works closely with internal teams to support financial reporting, reconciliations, audit activities, and ongoing process improvements.Â
RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
• Prepare and post journal entries for balance sheet and income statement accountsÂ
• Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain general ledger   accuracyÂ
• Manage intercompany transactions, payroll reconciliations, and related account  maintenanceÂ
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliationsÂ
• Support the preparation of financial statements and internal reportingÂ
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentationÂ
• Identify opportunities to improve internal controls and accounting processesÂ
• Assist with internal and external auditsÂ
• Support special projects and ad hoc accounting initiatives as requiredÂ

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONSÂ
• Enrolled in a CPA program (Is an asset but not required)Â
• Strong mathematical and analytical skillsÂ
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and WordÂ
