<p><b>Position:</b> Security Team Lead</p>
<p><b>Site:</b> University Health Network – West Park – 170 Emmett Ave, York</p>
<p><b>Overtime:</b> Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours</p>
<p><b>Status:</b> Full‑time</p>
<p><b>Hours:</b> Continental Nights (1800‑0600 hrs.)</p>
<p><b>Pay Rate:</b> $21.59</p>
<p><b>Posting Date:</b> January 5, 2026</p>
<p><b>Internal Expiry:</b> January 9, 2026</p>
<p><b>External Expiry:</b> January 15, 2026</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Provides leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and training</li>
<li>Ensures all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required for each shift</li>
<li>Ensures site staff adhere to all Paladin Security and site‑specific security policies and procedures</li>
<li>Plans and implements shift work schedules</li>
<li>Ensures all Security Guards have received the mandatory training</li>
<li>Motivates staff and issues commendations</li>
<li>Disciplines staff when necessary and ensures proper documentation is passed onto head office</li>
<li>Performs security audits</li>
<li>Documents and investigates security incidents and complaints</li>
<li>Provide proactive and reactive security patrols</li>
<li>Communicates any concerns/issues with Client Service Manager</li>
</ul>
<h3>Prerequisites</h3>
<ul>
<li>Valid Security License for the province of Ontario</li>
<li>Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider</li>
<li>COVID‑19 vaccine – two doses</li>
<li>Proof of up‑to‑date immunization records for Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella and two‑step tuberculosis skin test</li>
<li>Must be willing to complete N95 mask fit testing during the training</li>
<li>Vulnerable Sector Check</li>
<li>Minimum 1 year of healthcare supervisory experience preferred</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure</li>
<li>Proven ability to train, direct, and motivate staff</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Legally authorized to work in Canada</li>
<li>Must provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)</li>
<li>Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's UOF/MOAB certification program prior to onboarding to meet the requirement</li>
</ul>
<p>Please be aware: The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as a pre‑employment requisite; Paladin will cover all training costs with a 6‑month commitment to the position and availability.</p>
