Job Description
We're looking for an experienced, certified Salesforce Application Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions in a structured DevOps environment. This role is a critical mix of project-based development, platform maintenance,
and technical mentorship.
Core Focus & Responsibilities
- Hands-on Development & Modernization: Design, develop, and deliver robust Salesforce solutions using declarative and programmatic tools. Primary focus is on Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and executing the transition from Visualforce to LWC.
- System Integrity & Security: Configure and maintain platform security, including role hierarchies, sharing rules, and OAuth/SSO configurations. Perform general platform maintenance, including technical debt reduction (e.g., field cleanup, data flow disablement).
- Integration & Data: Implement and support complex integrations using Salesforce APIs (including REST) and ETL processes, especially with connected apps in an aging system landscape (10-12 years old).
- DevOps & Quality: Actively participate in the CI/CD pipeline, utilizing tools like Git and gearset, and manage production releases (which may require occasional after-hours support).
- Team Contribution: Mentor junior developers on Salesforce best practices and contribute to initial system analysis and business understanding with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and implementation experience.
- Certification: Salesforce Platform Developer I (PDI) certification is required.
- Skills: Proven expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and a strong command of technical governance and maintenance within Salesforce.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Compensation & Location
- Compensation: Competitive salary (approx. $115K) plus a performance-based annual bonus (10%).
- Schedule: Hybrid, working three days a week (T, W, Th) in the office.
- Location: Currently in Mississauga, moving to 1 Adelaide in Toronto in September 2026.
