<p>Job Summary<br><br>We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Rental Agent to join our team at Arbor Trace. The ideal candidate will excel in sales, customer service, and administrative tasks, playing a vital role in managing rental inquiries, facilitating transactions, and ensuring a positive experience for clients. This position offers opportunities to develop sales management skills, enhance communication abilities, and work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to providing exceptional service.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Assist prospective clients with rental inquiries through phone calls, in-person visits, and online platforms</li><li>Conduct property tours and provide detailed information about rental units</li><li>Manage inventory control and maintain accurate records of available properties and client interactions</li><li>Handle administrative tasks including data entry, document preparation, and maintaining organized files using Microsoft Word and Excel</li><li>Engage in outside sales efforts to attract new tenants and promote rental properties</li><li>Develop business activities and create new marketing strategies to increase property visibility and attract potential renters with General Manager approval</li><li>Maintain professional communication with clients via phone etiquette and public speaking skills</li><li>Negotiate lease terms and rental agreements to meet both client needs and company policies</li><li>Follow up with prospects and complete the necessary rental documents</li><li>Issue rental activity reports and handle renewal requests as needed</li><li>Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate property upkeep and repairs as needed</li><li>Participate in any other related tasks required by the General Manager</li><li>Utilize organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively and ensure smooth daily operations</li></ul><p>Experience</p><ul><li>Previous experience in retail sales, public speaking, or customer service is required</li><li>Familiarity with inventory management, inventory control, and retail math is advantageous</li><li>Administrative experience including data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, and general office procedures is desirable</li><li>Skills in negotiation, marketing, phone etiquette, and organizational skills are highly valued</li></ul><p>This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, proven sales skills, a proactive attitude toward customer service, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
