Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.</p> <p>Heidelberg Materials has a current job opening for a Ready Mix Driver working primarily out of the Waterdown, Ont. plant location.</p> <p><b>What You'll Be Doing</b></p><ul><li>Safely operate manual and automatic commercial vehicles to deliver ready mix concrete.</li><li>Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.</li><li>Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with dispatch.</li><li>Ensure proper handling and placement of concrete at job sites.</li><li>Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.</li></ul> <p><b>What Are We Looking For</b></p><ul><li>Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.</li><li>Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.</li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Capability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects.</li><li>Commitment to safety and attention to detail.</li></ul> <p><b>Conditions of Employment</b></p><ul><li>Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment background check.</li></ul> <p><b>Work Environment</b></p><ul><li>Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.</li></ul> <p><b>What We Offer</b></p><ul><li>Starting from $31.34 per hour</li></ul> <p>Heidelberg Materials welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
