Quality & Compliance Manager, Hull

Job Description

<p><p>Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an individual to take ownership of a newly created role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives working autonomously and is confident in developing and embedding quality and compliance systems across a dynamic and expanding business. An attention to detail, a methodical approach and a willingness to further a career within compliance and quality are essential.</p>
<p>Working closely with the senior management team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s approach to quality assurance, ensuring robust systems and standards are in place to support future growth and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Ensure the business complies with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 14001, and BS 10008 standards</li>
<li>Review, update, and maintain company policies and procedures</li>
<li>Conduct internal audits and quality checks to ensure client expectations and compliance standards are consistently met</li>
<li>Investigate quality or compliance issues and prepare reports with recommendations for resolution</li>
<li>Support supplier assessments and assist with supply chain quality assurance</li>
<li>Analyse data to identify trends, risks, or opportunities for improvement</li>
<li>Lead and support the business through external audits and accreditation processes</li>
</ul>
<h3>The Ideal Candidate</h3>
<p>An understanding of maintaining ISO standards is essential.</p>
<p>A service sector background ideal.</p>
<p>Strong analytical and report writing skills</p>
<p>Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical, accurate approach</p>
<p>Able to work independently and collaboratively across teams</p>
