<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>JSI Telecom is looking for a full-time <strong>SDET / Technical Feature Tester</strong>. You will test complex, cutting-edge software leveraging <strong>AI</strong>, <strong>ML</strong>, and a wide variety of technologies. This role combines <strong>automated and manual testing</strong>, exploratory testing, and collaboration with developers, product owners, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software that meets and exceeds customer expectations.</p><p>Your experience and training are important, but your mindset—curiosity, adaptability, and passion for quality—is critical.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br />At JSI, your responsibilities may include:</p><ul><li>Designing and writing test cases and test plans as part of feature and regression test suites</li><li>Collaborating with developers, product owners and other SMEs.</li><li>Determining which test cases can and should be automated.</li><li>Automating, maintaining and executing tests in a timely manner.</li><li>Reporting on and explaining test results.</li><li>Owing quality and influencing test design, processes and automation best practices.</li><li>Performing exploratory testing and executing defined test cases on pre- and post-release software to prove that:<ul><li>Features satisfy or exceed explicit and implicit requirements</li><li>The product delivers an excellent user experience</li><li>The features integrate with the product suite</li></ul></li><li>Independently troubleshooting and investigating issues that arise</li><li>Executing long-running tests on pre- and post-release software to prove:<ul><li>The absence of edge condition failures and memory leaks</li><li>The supportability of the product</li><li>Identifying defects and managing those defects through a bug tracking system (Azure)</li></ul></li><li>Partnering with development teams to reproduce defect scenarios and identify root causes</li><li>Working with other members of the test team to:<ul><li>Participate in regression testing</li><li>Prioritize areas for soak testing</li><li>Give feedback on feature testing shortfalls</li><li>Provide peer review for other testers</li></ul></li><li>Running and analyzing automated tests</li><li>Participating in feature development and planning meetings as a representative from the test team</li><li>Advocating for quality</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Traits</strong><br />The ideal candidate:</p><ul><li>Ability to code in languages like Python, C#</li><li>Experience with tools like Playwright, Selenium, Nunit, Postman</li><li>Familiar with CI/CD integration for automated pipelines</li><li>Experience with a variety of test techniques and practices including Test Driven Development (TDD)</li><li>Knowledge of non-functional requirements, including performance, stability, supportability, extensibility etc.</li><li>Uses and stays current with AI tools for quality engineering.</li><li>Ideally, has working knowledge of at least some of the following:<ul><li>Data Lakehouse</li><li>Kubernetes</li><li>Helm</li><li>Checkmk</li><li>Cloud platforms like AWS</li><li>Loves testing and is really good at it -
