<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p>We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Project Manager to oversee the facilities scope for a major gas pipeline project in British Columbia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale gas facility programs, including both greenfield and brownfield projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>• Lead and manage the facilities scope of the project from detailed design through completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and schedule.</p><p>• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders—including regulatory agencies and Indigenous communities—to ensure project success.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.</p><p>• Oversee the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor project performance.</p><p>• Implement risk management strategies to proactively mitigate project risks.</p><p>• Lead and mentor a team of engineering and support staff.</p><p>• Foster strong relationships with senior management, external partners, and customers.</p><p><strong>Desired Skills and Competencies</strong></p><p>• Excellent leadership and team management skills</p><p>• Strong strategic planning and business acumen</p><p>• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills</p><p>• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving project requirements</p><p>• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities</p><p>• Commitment to safety and quality standards</p><p><strong>Essential Skills</strong></p><p>• Minimum of 15 years of project management experience</p><p>• Proven track record managing large-scale, multidisciplinary projects, including gas compression facilities</p><p>• Extensive experience in stakeholder management, particularly with Indigenous communities and regulatory agencies</p><p>• Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing project budgets</p><p>• Strong background in safety leadership, environmental management, and regulatory compliance</p><p>• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering</p><p><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong></p><p>• Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (MBA) or equivalent</p><p>• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification</p><p>• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation</p><p><strong>Experience Level</strong></p><p>Expert Level</p><p><strong>Job Type & Location</strong></p><p>This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.</p><p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong></p><p>The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $105.00/hr.</p><p><strong>Workplace Type</strong></p><p>This is a hybrid position in Calgary,AB.</p><p></p><p></p>À propos d&#39;Actalent: <p> Actalent est un chef de file mondial des services d’ingénierie et de sciences et des solutions de talents.
