About the Role:  <br>Vitacore is seeking a Production Supervisor our Manufacturing & Recycling teams. This is a key hands-on leadership role supporting day-to-day production, team coordination, and continuous improvement across two fast-paced operational areas. Responsibilities include: <br>Production:<ul><li>Assist in planning, managing and executing production operations</li><li>Coordinate and plan production priorities, workflow and schedule.</li><li>Coordinate the communication flow between management and the team members.</li><li>Coordinate the maintenance plans with the team.</li><li>Optimize production operations to meet quality amd performance standards.</li><li>Support determining resource requirements and work allocation for production operation.</li><li>Support cost-optimization initiatives implementation.</li><li>Support KPIs implementation. </li></ul>
Quality:<ul><li>Develop or update standard operating procedures and best practices for production operations</li><li>Assist in documenting work instructions and procedures.</li></ul>
People:<ul><li>Address employee concerns and complaints in a professional manner.</li><li>Assist with interviewing, hiring and training new employees.</li><li> Assist with performance review, appraisals, and promotions for employees. </li></ul>
Safety:<ul><li>Coorinate the Health & Safety initiatives.</li><li>Support updating safety measures and procedures.  </li></ul>
 
Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>Computer skills (Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets).</li><li>Hands on attitude.</li><li>Ability to multitask.</li><li>Ability to multitask.</li><li>Ability to problem-solve.</li><li>Knowledge of health and safety protocols.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Technical know-how of production machines for the effective operation.</li><li>Experience working in manufacturing in a managerial role is preferred.</li><li>Previous experience in a start-up environment would be preferred. </li></ul>
 
Compensation:<ul><li>$27-30 CAD per hour </li><li>Health & Dental benefits </li><li>2 weeks paid vacation</li><li>Work Hours: 8:00am-6:00pm - 4 days a week (flexibility required for different shifts)</li><li>Tuition Assistance Program </li><li>Multiple company events throughout the year </li></ul>
