For over three decades, we have provided innovative building automation solutions for commercial, healthcare, education, and leisure facilities.</p><p><strong>Job Summary </strong></p><p>We’re looking for an <strong>Product Application Specialist - SR</strong> to help shape the future of smart buildings. In this role, you will design and implement customer-specific hardware and software, validate products for real-world use cases, and create applications that showcase our products in new market. </p><p><strong>Duties & Responsibilities </strong></p><ul><li>Design and implement cross-brand solutions. </li><li>Collaborate with Product management and product development.</li><li>Lead beta testing and field validation. </li><li>Develop and maintain technical documentation.</li><li>Manage application engineering projects and contracts. </li><li>Research and evaluate emerging technologies.</li><li>Serve as a subject matter expert on product.</li><li>Integrate third-party devices and software with Delta IBT products.</li><li>Mentor junior team members.</li><li>Perform other related duties in support of team and organizational goals. </li></ul><p><strong>Job Requirements </strong></p><ul><li>This is <strong>senior level role </strong>requiring 5+ years of experience in building automation</li><li>Minimum - technical diploma in controls, or a related technical field.</li><li>Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proven track record of leading projects from concept to execution.</li><li>Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills & Experience </strong></p><ul><li>Experience with Delta IBT systems (Node-RED, Python, GCL+) an asset. </li><li>Familiarity with IoT technologies, sensors, and wireless systems. </li><li>Knowledge of LEED, WELL, or ASHRAE Guideline 36.</li><li>Experience in electronics manufacturing or quality-controlled environments.</li><li>Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP) an asset.</li><li>Understanding of sustainable building standards and practices. </li></ul><p><strong>Work Location:</strong> In Office (Currently 3 days a week, subject to change)<br /><strong>City:</strong> Surrey<br /><strong>Type:</strong> Full-time, Permanent<br /><strong>Salary:</strong> $90,000 - $116,000<br /><em>This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations.
