Senior System Administrator / IT Manager

Responsibilities
Reporting to the IT Director, the holder of the position based in Montreal will be responsible for:
•Administer and maintain computer networks
•Implement and migrate servers, systems and network infrastructures
•Install, maintain and upgrade server and telecommunications equipment hardware and software
•Management of the company’s cloud computing environments
•Analyze infrastructure and make recommendations
•Validate, write and/or update procedures related to IT infrastructures
• Monitor alerts and problems from remote monitoring systems
•Perform data backup and restoration operations
•Propose and implement projects to upgrade existing IT structures
•Supervision of an IT support team
•Participate in all other IT projects
•Ensure the improvement, performance and security of existing and future networks and systems;
•Update storage, backup and network solutions while maintaining a global vision of the organization;
•Act as the last level of support.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills:
•DEC in computer technology or other equivalent diploma
•You have a minimum of 5 years of business experience in a similar position
•Mastery of Microsoft environment (Windows 10, Windows Server 2012-2019, Active Directory, GPO, Office 365, Sharepoint, Teams)
•VMware virtualization and Veeam backup
•Network (DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, VPN, MPLS)
•Agility in terms of server and network security (Firewall, Fortinet, Checkpoint, F5, etc.);
•You have a perfect command of the French and English languages, both spoken and written.
