Presales Solutions Architect

NOVA Networks is seeking aPre-Sales Solutions Architectto bring dynamic thinking and solutions expertise to our employees, customers and partners. This role contributes to or leads the technical aspects of solution selling, collaborating with stakeholders from requirements definition to production.

The ROLE:

Technical Sales:

• Lead the technical aspects of solution selling, working across dynamic account teams
• Technically qualify sales leads
• Knowledge of Dell sizing tools ( and/or equivalent )
• Develop your technology translation capability: communicating business into technology & technology into business
• Collaborate with stakeholders from requirements definition to production
• Design hardware, software & service solutions to address client requirements in a fiscally relevant manner, working with a range of industry partners
• Deliver presentations that clarify solution value propositions
• RFx bid responses team participation
• Lead technical contact for customer technical issues
• Work closely with the technical support team and engineering to answer, elevate and resolve customers issues and drive intended outcomes
• Implement/install small projects

Business Development:

• Bring your subject matter expertise to business development discussions and planning
• Contribute to Future Proofing organizational capability

Marketing:

• Collaborate with MARCOM team in support of sales & business development activities
• Contribute value proposition content expertise to customer materials working across functions
• Assist with event orchestration
• Participate / present at local events
• Explore & expand your team leadership capabilities
• Empower the broader team with your knowledge

Community:

• Contribute your experience & story to the company
• Help us continuously improve our employee, customer & partner experience

Candidate Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in computer science, engineering, or similar with 2+ years’ related work experience and proven technology skills, combined with outstanding interpersonal abilities
• Experience in the data center – Virtualization, servers, storage, networking, security, cloud etc…
• Experience with Hyper-Converged and Storage products from Dell Technologies (or similar)
• Technical certifications with Hyper-Converged and Storage products from Dell Technologies (or similar)
• Attention to detail, analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities.
• Participate in or lead small COTS implementation projects and/or participate in larger project teams
• Willingness to travel periodically
• Must be able to obtain, or currently hold, a Secret level clearance.

Nice to Haves:

• 2+ years’ related work experience with Government of Canada departments or agencies
• Prior sales, pre-sales or consulting experience with a Solution Provider
• PISA experience
• Bilingual proficiency

(Salary range for this role: $70,000 – $110,000)
