<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Join to apply for the <b>PCX Department Manager Contract</b> role at <b>Fortinos Supermarket Ltd</b>.</p><p>Mandate: To lead a team of Personal Shoppers and the in-store experience of our Click & Collect program including in-store shopping, customer interactions, handling POS transactions with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.</p><h3>Duties & Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided in a courteous manner to maintain our reputation for friendly, effective, and personalized experience;</li><li>Develop an understanding of best practices relating to Click & Collect Operations;</li><li>Be committed to maintaining operational standards;</li><li>Be accountable for departmental financial objectives;</li><li>Work with employees to improve productivity, engagement and retention;</li><li>Identify opportunities to reduce customer wait times upon pickup at store;</li><li>To schedule, direct, supervise and discipline department staff and train all new employees;</li><li>To be responsible for the opening and/or closing functions of the department;</li><li>To ensure the maintenance of equipment and the safety and sanitation of the production and back room areas, as per Company Policy;</li><li>To respond to any customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring courteous customer relations at all times;</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Exceptional customer service skills and a talent for building customer loyalty;</li><li>Flexibility to work a variety of hours which include days, evenings, night shifts and weekends;</li><li>The ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure;</li><li>The ability to lead, coach and motivate employees;</li><li>Strong financial acumen to deliver outstanding business results;</li><li>A commitment to delivering consistent results, every day;</li><li>Previous retail, grocery retail or hospitality management experience is an asset.</li></ul><h3>How You’ll Succeed</h3><p>At Fortinos, we attribute our success to preserving our core values: super fresh foods, well-trained staff, store cleanliness and above all, superior, friendly customer service.
