<p>Description: Working in Parts Department working with other internal departments and retail customers either over the phone or in person. Will create purchase order numbers and invoices and ensure proper payment is received. Will charge out needed parts onto shop work orders.</p><p>Hours:</p><ul><li>Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm.</li><li>Tuesday from 9:30am to 7:30pm</li><li>Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.</li></ul><p>Department Hours:</p><ul><li>Monday, Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm.</li><li>Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 7:30am to 7:30pm</li><li>Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm</li></ul><p>Pay Structure: Salary plus bonus per Department Sales</p><p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business</li><li>Ensures that customer complaints are handled tactfully, promptly with genuine concern and according to the dealership's guidelines</li><li>Creates an environment where customers are regularly apprise of the current situation</li><li>Takes the initiative to exceed customer satisfaction, even if it requires overcoming obstacles</li><li>Ensures that each and every customer encounter is consistent</li><li>Provides excellent customer service by listening to customer inquiries and requests asking questions to ensure understanding of needs, and supplying parts in a timely manner</li><li>Recommends related Parts that are needed</li><li>Ensures necessary parts are available</li><li>Informs customers when special order parts have arrived</li><li>Costs on invoice or repair order</li><li>Responds with a sense of urgency to requests for emergency parts</li><li>Maintains tight control over parts inventory to increase efficiency and eliminate customer delays</li><li>Follows up with customers to ensure that their needs have been met</li><li>Understands the customer service measurements used within the brand network</li><li>Identifies, recommends and supports opportunities for methods/process improvement in the Parts Department</li><li>Encourages the sale of branded parts</li><li>Maintains a professional appearance at all times.</li></ul><p>Meet Objectives</p><ul><li>Acts quickly to implement plans; organizes work efficiently; follows up to ensure successful implementation</li><li>Prioritizes work to meet demands and customer needs</li><li>Assists in receiving and stocking parts orders</li><li>Monitors and follows up on back orders daily</li><li>Issues purchase orders in accordance with company policy</li><li>Properly secures high-risk stock items</li><li>Follows up daily on "parts for credit/return"</li><li>Reviews parts pricing to be sure it's in line with the estimate</li><li>Notifies the Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need attention</li><li>Receives parts from vendors and ensures they are correct and damage free</li><li>Uses computer to look up and monitor parts requests as well as recording parts disbursed per repair order</li><li>Assists in updating Parts Catalogues</li><li>Performs cashier responsibilities when necessary</li><li>Maintains a proper filing system for all paperwork corresponding to repair orders, special orders and back orders, etc.</li><li>Unpacks shipment and maintains displays</li><li>Orders Parts accurately and promptly by skillfully using the facility's parts cataloguing system and the relevant portions of the facilities computerized management system</li><li>Has a thorough insight into automotive systems in general</li><li>Understands and works within the parameters of the GABCC production flow process</li><li>Maintains parts area in a clean well-organized manner; keeps work area clean and organized</li><li>Maintains safe, work practices at all times and abides by working rules and standards</li></ul><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year</p><p>Work Location: In person</p>
