Flashpoint Training Inc. is expanding into the Ottawa region and is seeking confident, engaging, and reliable Youth Workshop Facilitators to deliver high-impact skill-building sessions to high school students. About the Role
As a Facilitator, you will co-lead dynamic, in-person workshops for high school students using Flashpoint's proprietary curriculum. Your role is to bring energy, clarity, professionalism, and strong classroom presence while helping students develop real-world skills in communication, teamwork, problem solving, and job readiness.
Schedule: Weekdays between 9 AM–3 PM (October–May)
Time Commitment: 4–10 hours per week, flexible
What You'll Do
- Deliver fun, interactive, high-energy workshops for high school students
- Build quick rapport and create an inclusive, motivating learning environment
- Model professionalism, leadership, punctuality, and strong communication
- Facilitate activities, discussions, and experiential learning exercises
- Work in pairs with another facilitator during most sessions
- Participate in orientation and shadow sessions before leading independently
- Represent Flashpoint with professionalism at all school and community sites

- Passion for youth empowerment and skill development
Experience
- 3+ years in facilitation, training, coaching, leadership, camp, or youth programming (an asset)
- Minimum 5 years of general life/work experience in any sector
- Experience working with diverse groups of students
- Postsecondary education (any field) is preferred
- Bilingual French–English is an asset.
