Guided by our core values of closeness, teamwork, diversity, and excellence, our team of 1,000 expert consultants, representing 35 different nationalities, collaborates across 10 international offices: Paris, Lyon, New York, Montreal, London, Brussels, Geneva, Lisbon, Porto, and Casablanca.</p><p><br></p><p>We are currently seeking a Senior Active Directory Engineer fluent in both French and English to join one of our clients in the financial sector, a major international bank based in Montreal.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Role Overview:</b></p><p><br></p><p>You will be part of a global infrastructure team responsible for maintaining and enhancing enterprise identity services. This position is focused on Level 3 support and engineering of Active Directory platforms, contributing to both operational stability and strategic projects. As part of a distributed team, you will collaborate with colleagues in North America, Europe, and Asia. The role offers opportunities to engage in global initiatives, security enhancements, and modernization efforts across a complex Windows infrastructure environment.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Provide Level 3 operational support for the Active Directory environment in the AMER region</li><li>Participate in global infrastructure projects, including system upgrades and security improvements</li><li>Contribute to the administration and optimization of over 300 Windows-based servers</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Active Directory and ADFS</li><li>Collaborate with international teams on technical initiatives and standardization efforts</li><li>Implement automation and scripting solutions using PowerShell</li><li>Ensure compliance with global IT policies and security standards</li><li>Participate in the maintenance of core services such as DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and certificate authorities</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to process improvements</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Required Skills and Qualifications: </b></p><p><br></p><p>Technical Skills</p><ul><li>Expertise in Active Directory, ADFS, and Windows Server administration</li><li>Strong scripting skills using PowerShell for automation and support tasks</li><li>Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, DFS, SCOM, SCCM, and backup/restore tools</li><li>Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments</li><li>Experience with LDAP, PKI, and patching mechanisms in enterprise settings</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Professional Experience</p><ul><li>5+ years in a Windows infrastructure or identity services role within a complex, regulated, or global environment</li><li>Demonstrated ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues independently</li><li>Experience working in agile or collaborative environments is a plus</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Soft Skills</p><ul><li>Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying improvement areas</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Team-oriented mindset with a sense of ownership and accountability</li><li>Ability to work across time zones and with global teams</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Working Environment: </b></p><ul><li>Hybrid model: 4 days per week on-site in Montreal</li><li>Candidate must be based in Montreal or willing to relocate</li><li><b>Languages: Fluency in English and French are required</b></li></ul>
