Medical Receptionist/Phlebotomist (Part-Time)

Overview

We are seeking a friendly, proactive, and organized Medical Receptionist to join our busy multidisciplinary healthcare team in Markham, Ontario. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to transition to full-time. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a warm and professional experience while supporting the clinic's medical, aesthetic, and wellness services.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
• Manage multi-line phone systems to answer calls, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries
• Maintain and update patient information accurately using OSCAR PRO EMR
• Coordinate communication between patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Support day-to-day administrative operations including filing, data entry, scanning, and supply management
• Promote all clinic services, including Medical Aesthetic Treatments and the Nutrition & Weight Loss Program, with the opportunity to earn commission on aesthetic treatment package sales
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with PHIPA and clinic privacy policies
• Represent the clinic professionally and assist with basic social media engagement such as posting and responding to messages
• Perform or assist with phlebotomy as required; phlebotomy experience is an asset, or willingness to complete a phlebotomy course is required

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a healthcare administrative role preferred
• Experience with OSCAR PRO EMR is an asset (training provided if needed)
• Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional manner
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in computer use, scheduling systems, and social media engagement
• Phlebotomy certification an asset, or willingness to obtain training
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and initiative to learn and grow

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
