Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.</p> <p><b>What You'll Be Doing</b></p><ul><li>Lubricate and perform breakdown maintenance and scheduled repairs of mixer trucks and other equipment as required to achieve optimum performance.</li><li>Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose problems.</li><li>Ensure that all equipment repairs are performed accurately to the manufacturer standards.</li><li>Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with specifications.</li><li>Perform other miscellaneous mechanical and maintenance duties as assigned.</li></ul> <p><b>What Are We Looking For</b></p><ul><li>Holds a valid provincial or Red Seal Journeyman certification; <br /> CVIP license is considered an asset</li><li>Demonstrates technical proficiency with transmissions, electrical systems, hydraulics, and other components on mixer trucks</li><li>Understands DOT inspection requirements and adheres to formal maintenance programs</li><li>Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks including lifting, kneeling, working at heights and in confined spaces</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital tools for documentation and diagnostics</li></ul> <p><b>Conditions of Employment</b></p><ul><li>Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.</li></ul> <p><b>Work Environment</b></p><ul><li>Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.</li></ul> <p><b>What We Offer</b></p><ul><li>$45.44 per hour</li><li>Secure, long-term employment</li><li>Competitive wage and benefits package</li><li>Training and development</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Overtime available</li></ul> <p>Heidelberg Materials welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
