<p>Our client, a global leader in automotive parts manufacturing, is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for their Vaughan facility.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Work Setting: </b>On Site</p><p><b>Shift Schedule:</b> Days. But can be asked to come in on an off shift or work overtime, if the business dictates it to be necessary</p><p><b>Location Details: </b>On Site</p><p><br></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Apply technical expertise to ensure that the manufacturing process is correctly created prior to product launch</li><li>Lead continuous improvement projects</li><li>Perform hands-on troubleshooting on equipment and use the 5Y and 8D processes to ensure that the issue doesn't repeat itself.</li><li>Create standardized work instructions and train production personnel on new processes.</li><li>Complete APQP-related activities and develop PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts, and operator instructions.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Minimum Requirements</b></p><ul><li>A minimum of 5 years of experience in an manufacturing environment.</li><li>Experience working in a facility that has injection moulding processes</li><li>At least 2 years of work experience as a Process Engineer or as a Manufacturing Engineer</li><li>A degree or diploma in mechanical or industrial engineering.</li><li>Familiarity with FMEA, APQP, and DOE.</li><li>Experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
