MANAGER, PROJECT ENGINEERING

Job Description

<p><p>Our client is looking for a Manager, Project Engineering that will lead and manage a team of engineers on large civil projects.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.</li>
<li>Oversee the Project Engineering team and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.</li>
<li>Develop and implement project management processes and best practices.</li>
<li>Manage Profit and Loss (P&L) for engineering projects, ensuring financial targets are met.</li>
<li>Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure project success.</li>
<li>Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.</li>
<li>Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.</li>
<li>Travel to NBM project sites and customers sites within New Brunswick and New England.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.</li>
<li>Excellent leadership and team management skills.</li>
<li>Proven experience leading a team in the civil engineering or construction industry.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.</li>
<li>Experience with Profit and Loss (P&L) management.</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Previous commercial experience and is considered an asset.</li>
<li>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li>
