Role Responsibilities
- Coaching and mentoring tax colleagues on compliance and client service, discussing tax planning options
- Establishing trusting relationships with clients and advising on complex tax issues
- Reviewing corporate compliance engagements and analyzing, reviewing, and completing tax returns
- Proactively resolving tax-related issues with clients and team members
- Leading growth initiatives in our tax practice, identifying new service opportunities
A Typical Day
You might speak with a CFO from an agricultural client, work through tax solutions with a Tax Partner, review files with team members, and plan upcoming client meetings—all while enjoying a flavored sparkling water from our stocked fridge.
Candidate Requirements
- Enrolled in or completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course, or hold a Masters of Taxation
- Experience in corporate and personal Canadian tax planning and compliance
- Ability to develop and present innovative tax solutions
- Mentoring and team development skills

Benefits
Profit sharing, flexible days, RRSP contributions, holiday closures, wellness benefits, work-from-anywhere options in summer, and more. The base salary for this role ranges from $72,500 to $100,000 in Penticton, BC, with variations based on location and experience.
