Job Description

*Detailed job duties*
* Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
* Grade and label wood products according to quality standards
* Measure lumber to ensure specified thickness, length and width
* Examine lumber visually for knots, holes, splits and other defects
* Measure wood products to ensure conformance to specifications
* Mark defects to be repaired
* Sort lumber for further drying, trimming or remanufacturing
* Maintain and complete inspection and grading reports

* Reliable
* Minimum of two years experience grading various lumbers
* Quality oriented, Client Focused
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong basic math skills
* Strong work ethics
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to work under tight time constraints
* Excellent oral communication
*Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.)*
* Lumber Grader Certificate
*Own Tools/Equipment*
* Steel-toed safety boots

* Must have own vehicle (no public transportation close to the mill)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$36.65 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
