<p>Role: Java Developer</p><p>Location: London, Ontario, Canada (Onsite)</p><p>Job Type: C2H / 6+ months</p><p><br></p><p></p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>•Design, develop, and test different pieces of software & features throughout the development life cycle</p><p>•Support and secure the platform's architecture through the implementation of cybersecurity initiatives to improve overall security posture</p><p>•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create, develop, design, maintain, and test current and new applications and features</p><p>•Identify and implement operational improvements</p><p>•Support and maintain CI/CD processes throughout all stages of the CI/CD cycle</p><p>•Complete code reviews, regression and end-to-end testing, debugging, and more</p><p>•Serve as an expert on data and informational flow between different applications and products</p><p>•Assist with projects and post-deployment through technical documentation, coding standards, project updates, troubleshooting</p><p>•Make informed decisions to guide the team and improve development processes</p><p>•Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging open communication and idea-sharing</p><p>•Ensure the team adheres to best practices and coding standards</p><p><br></p><p>Who you are:</p><p>•Holds Bachelor's or diploma in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related degree</p><p>•Excels at guiding product developers as well as providing clear direction on technical and design matters when necessary</p><p>•Drives projects, products, and initiatives forward by making informed decisions to impact team performance and outcomes</p><p>•Guides and supports team members through mentoring, coaching, and providing necessary guidance for their technical growth and success</p><p>•Adept at implementing scalable cloud development solutions and data infrastructure</p><p>•Has a strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and principles for scalable enterprise platforms</p><p>•Proficient in using Spring Boot, NodeJS, or similar Java application frameworks</p><p>•Savvy in coding languages such as Java, JavaScript, .NET, TypeScript, and Python</p><p>•Knowledgeable in the definition and integration of APIs</p><p>•Experienced with database technologies, including SQL/NoSQL</p><p>•Able to troubleshoot and debug complex software applications</p><p>•Familiar with CI/CD, DevOps concepts, and microservice design patterns and principles</p><p>•Has a solid understanding of DevOps processes</p><p>•Possesses excellent technical writing and documentation skills</p><p>•Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills</p><p>•Collaborates effectively with a diverse crew of technical and non-technical professionals</p><p>•Passionate about continuous learning in new technologies and languages, keeping up with technology trends</p>
